I work at the intersections of AI governance, privacy, and ethics . These days, I'm Senior Privacy Analyst at Shared Services Canada, and I've been deep in the world of tech policy and data governance for over twenty years. I'm the Program Manager for Broadband Equity, Containing Disinformation, and AI Governance at Penn State University's X-Lab, a think tank focused on digital justice. I've also worked with the Open Technology Initiative in Washington, helping to build tools that measure how the internet is performing across the globe.
Previously, I ran an agency to help organizations adapt to tech disruptions and I've led digital strategies for large corporations such as BRP.
The common thread through all my work is that technology should serve humans, not the other way around.
