Head shaving tip #117Head shaving tip #117

If you have a shaved head and want to keep it, don't let it grow out more than a few days or so. Shaving your head after it's grown out more than a few millimeters is almost as irritating as when you shave it for the first time.

That is all.

I hate the feeling of a shaved-shaved (I use the clippers at 3/8") head the day after. Like bad velcro (so imagine with 4 cats and a dog!). I'm way too lazy to shave-shave my head every day: my own point in shaving it was to avoid spending time on something as irrelevant as hair! Wink

Haha - I hadn't thought about the dog / cat issue. I'm already resigned to the the "sweater getting caught on your velcro-head when putting it on" issue.

Although I gently disagree that hair (or the lack of) is irrelevant, you're definitely right about the time issue - I mistakenly assumed that shaving my head would save me time and money over my previous hairstyle. Good hair was very to me, so I spent the money on products and such, and the time getting ready in the morning.

Although I like the look of a shaved head on me, the time spent shaving with a razor every other day in the shower and then applying lotion, and the cost of replacing razors that I blunt every 2 or 3 shaves, brings me back to square 1, more or less. I've also tried the clipped / buzzed look but it doesn't really work for me.
