People are being encouraged
People are being encouraged in broadcasts to switch off theirn lights during "Earth Hour".
This is a totally irresponsible action which could cause a serious voltage surge with consequences such as the blackout that we suffered nationwide a couple of years ago.
A far better way of saving energy is to stop using treadmills which, in 40 minutes, consume as much power as a 60 watt light bulb in 24 hours.
